Carolina Florencio, DMD, PhD.

General Dentistry

Dentistry is my passion. During the nearly a decade that I've practiced as a family, restorative and cosmetic dentist, the joy of working with a team in delivering best possible care for my patients has only grown. I enjoy forming lasting relationships with my patients, team members, and specialists to make beautiful and healthy smiles in a caring and relaxing environment. The best part of providing excellent care is taking time to get to know my patients and helping them reach long-term health objectives.

Dentistry is unique in the sense that is - at the same time - science, art, and skill. Appreciating all three aspects, I combine my 10 years of dental practice with an inate appreciation for arts and aesthetics, and a continuous seek for knowledge. Growing up in Brazil - often considered the Mecca of aesthetic surgery - has heightened my sense and intuition for dental aesthetics. And my continuous search for knowledge has led me to combine an ivy-league degree (Doctor of Dental Medicine, from Univ. of Pennsylvania), with masters degree in Periodontoly and Implantology, and even a PhD doing DNA research in periodontal disease. I did also an externship in Oral Surgery at the Univ. of Washington.

Outside the office, I enjoy cooking, eating and spending time with my husband and my 5 year old son in the beautiful Northwest, as well as traveling. We've been exploring different countries, including China, India, Thailand, and many countries in Europe and America.
